E-Global Hive (βE-Global,β βwe,β βour,β or βusβ) respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects all users, creators, advertisers, sharers, brands, and other account holders to do the same.
This Copyright Policy explains how copyright-related issues are handled across our platform, including user-uploaded content, creator content, linked content features, Boost Share submissions, thumbnails, captions, music, audio, reporting, review, appeals, account action, and repeat infringement handling.
By using E-Global, you agree to comply with this Copyright Policy, our Terms of Services, and any related platform rules.
1. Purpose of This Policy
E-Global is a social media and digital engagement platform that allows users to upload, post, share, display, support, promote, and interact with content and platform features.
Because our Services involve user-generated content and user-submitted linked content, copyright issues may arise from time to time. This policy is intended to:
- protect the rights of copyright owners;
- help users understand what they may and may not upload, attach, link, or use;
- explain how copyright complaints may be reported and reviewed;
- explain how E-Global may respond to suspected infringement; and
- support lawful, responsible, and fair use of the platform.
2. What This Policy Covers
This policy applies to copyright-related issues involving content or materials used anywhere on E-Global, including but not limited to:
- uploaded videos;
- uploaded images and graphics;
- uploaded music and audio;
- voice recordings and sound effects;
- captions, descriptions, and text overlays;
- thumbnails and preview images;
- creator branding, logos, and visual materials;
- comments and other user-submitted media;
- linked content entries submitted through Boost Share or similar sharing tools;
- landing-page materials shown before a visitor proceeds to an external destination; and
- any other media or creative material made available through the Services.
3. What Users May Upload, Use, or Submit
You may only upload, post, attach, share, synchronize, submit, distribute, display, or otherwise use content on E-Global if:
- you created the content yourself; or
- you own the content; or
- you have all necessary rights, licenses, permissions, and consents to use that content on E-Global in the way you are using it.
This rule applies to all forms of content and media, whether the content is uploaded directly to E-Global or used as part of another platform feature.
4. Public Availability Does Not Mean Free to Use
Content found on another website, app, social platform, search engine, streaming platform, messaging platform, or public page is not automatically free to use on E-Global.
The fact that content is publicly visible elsewhere does not mean that a user has the right to:
- copy it;
- repost it;
- upload it;
- attach it to another post or page;
- use it as a thumbnail or preview image;
- use it as background media;
- edit it or remix it;
- create a promotional entry around it; or
- otherwise reuse it on E-Global.
Users are responsible for making sure they have the legal right to use any content or media they upload, attach, submit, or display through the platform.
5. Boost Share and External Link Submissions
E-Global may allow users to submit third-party links through features such as Boost Share.
These linked-content features may allow a user to submit or create materials associated with an external destination, including for example:
- a shortened E-Global link;
- a custom thumbnail;
- an automatically generated thumbnail or preview;
- a title or caption;
- a description;
- a landing page entry;
- shareable promotional text; or
- other display materials associated with the linked destination.
Important rules for Boost Share and similar features:
Submitting a link to third-party content does not mean the user owns the linked content.
A user may not assume they have the right to use a third partyβs:
- video frame;
- screenshot;
- thumbnail;
- artwork;
- logo;
- channel branding;
- page design;
- caption text;
- promotional image; or
- other protected material
simply because they are linking to that content.
If a user provides a custom thumbnail, caption, branding element, image, or other media for a Boost Share entry, that user must have the right to use that material.
If E-Global automatically generates or displays a preview or linked-content image based on available metadata or platform functionality, E-Global may still remove, disable, replace, or restrict that material if a copyright complaint or rights issue arises.
6. Video, Music, and Audio Rights
Copyright protection may apply to many parts of a single piece of content.
For example, one post, video, or linked promotional entry may involve separate rights in:
- the video recording;
- the music or sound recording;
- the underlying musical composition;
- narration or spoken words;
- artwork or graphics;
- images shown in the content;
- text overlays;
- brand identifiers;
- edits, compilations, remixes, or clips; and
- other protected elements.
Users must ensure they have the rights to each protected part of the content or media they use.
Separate platform pages may provide additional rules for:
- Video Copyright Rules
- Music and Audio Copyright Rules
Those pages supplement this main policy.
7. No Guarantee of Pre-Screening
E-Global may use moderation tools, reporting processes, manual review, or other platform controls, but we do not guarantee that all uploads, links, thumbnails, previews, captions, audio attachments, or other materials will be screened, checked, reviewed, or verified before they appear on the platform or before a complaint is made.
Because of this:
- some content or linked entries may appear before review;
- copyright issues may be identified only after upload, publication, submission, report, or complaint; and
- users and rights holders should use the reporting and appeal processes where appropriate.
8. What We May Do When Copyright Issues Arise
If we receive a complaint, detect an issue, identify suspicious use, or otherwise reasonably believe that content or linked materials may infringe copyright or related rights, we may take one or more actions as appropriate.
Depending on the circumstances, E-Global may:
- remove the content or linked entry;
- mute or disable audio;
- remove or replace a thumbnail or preview;
- restrict access to content or a landing page;
- disable sharing of the entry;
- limit visibility or distribution;
- place the material under review;
- disable certain features connected to the content;
- issue a warning to the user;
- temporarily restrict the account;
- suspend or terminate the account; or
- take any other reasonable action necessary to protect rights holders, users, the platform, partners, or legal compliance.
We may act before, during, or after contacting the uploader or submitting user, depending on the seriousness of the issue and the information available to us.
9. Copyright Reports
A person or entity who believes that content or materials on E-Global infringe their copyright may submit a copyright report using our designated reporting process.
A proper report should include enough information for us to review the complaint, which may include:
- the identity and contact details of the complaining party;
- a description of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed;
- the location or details of the allegedly infringing material;
- the specific E-Global content, post, page, thumbnail, preview, audio, or linked entry being complained about;
- a statement explaining the complaint;
- any supporting information reasonably necessary for review; and
- a statement that the complaint is made in good faith.
E-Global may request additional information before acting on a complaint.
10. Good-Faith Reporting Required
Anyone submitting a copyright complaint must do so truthfully, accurately, and in good faith.
You must not submit reports that are:
- false;
- misleading;
- abusive;
- retaliatory;
- fraudulent; or
- intended to harass, silence, or unfairly target another user.
Submitting a knowingly false or abusive copyright report may result in:
- rejection of the report;
- warning or restriction of reporting privileges;
- account suspension or termination; and
- any other action we consider appropriate under our policies or applicable law.
11. Counter-Notice and Appeal
If your content, thumbnail, audio, preview, linked entry, landing page material, or other platform material is removed, muted, restricted, disabled, or otherwise affected because of a copyright complaint or copyright-related review, you may be allowed to submit a counter-notice or appeal where appropriate.
A counter-notice or appeal may be appropriate where, for example:
- you believe the action was taken by mistake;
- you believe you have the necessary rights or authorization;
- you believe the complaint is inaccurate or incomplete; or
- you believe the content or linked material was misidentified.
Submitting a counter-notice or appeal does not guarantee restoration. E-Global may request additional information and may restore, continue restricting, or permanently remove the material depending on the outcome of the review.
Separate platform pages may explain the Counter-Notice / Appeal Process in more detail.
12. Repeat Infringer Policy
E-Global may take stronger action against users who repeatedly violate copyright or repeatedly upload, post, attach, share, submit, or use content without the required rights.
When deciding whether a user may be treated as a repeat infringer, we may consider factors such as:
- the number of valid complaints received;
- repeated removal or muting of content;
- repeated use of unauthorized music, audio, video, thumbnails, previews, screenshots, branding elements, or other protected material;
- repeated violations involving Boost Share or linked-content entries;
- repeated submission of material that violates prior warnings;
- attempts to evade previous enforcement action; and
- the seriousness, pattern, and frequency of the conduct.
Action against repeat infringers may include:
- warnings;
- temporary feature restrictions;
- loss of upload privileges;
- loss of audio or content-attachment privileges;
- loss of linked-content or sharing privileges;
- removal of content;
- reduced platform visibility;
- suspension; or
- permanent account termination.
E-Global may apply this policy in a flexible and reasonable manner based on the available facts, platform safety, and legal considerations.
13. Platform-Provided or Approved Content
From time to time, E-Global may make certain content, sounds, tools, templates, previews, or media options available within the platform.
Where this occurs, such materials may still be subject to separate usage conditions, feature rules, territorial limits, creator restrictions, campaign limitations, or other instructions stated by E-Global.
Unless E-Global clearly states otherwise, users should not assume that any platform-visible or platform-accessible content may be used outside the permitted scope of the relevant feature.
14. Other Rights May Also Apply
A copyright issue may also involve other legal rights, including:
- trademark rights;
- publicity rights;
- privacy rights;
- performer rights;
- contractual restrictions;
- licensing restrictions; and
- other proprietary or legal protections.
E-Global may take action where content appears to violate not only copyright, but also other rights or platform rules.
15. Cooperation and Information Requests
To review copyright matters properly, E-Global may ask uploaders, reporting parties, creators, advertisers, sharers, or other relevant users for additional information or documents.
Failure to provide requested information within a reasonable time may affect the outcome of the review.
16. Policy Relationship
This Copyright Policy should be read together with our:
- Terms of Services
- Privacy Policy
- Video Copyright Rules
- Music and Audio Copyright Rules
- Copyright Reporting Process
- Counter-Notice / Appeal Process
If there is a conflict between this policy and another platform rule, E-Global may interpret and apply the policies in the manner it reasonably considers most appropriate for legal compliance, rights protection, and platform safety.
17. Policy Updates
We may update this Copyright Policy from time to time.
When we do, we may revise the βLast Updatedβ date and may take additional steps to notify users where appropriate. Continued use of the platform after updates take effect means you accept the revised policy.
